My Passion

As a first-generation Nigerian-American born and raised in Providence, Chef Wande draws flavors and influences from Asian and West African dishes she grew up eating. She is passionate about elevating and putting a unique spin on classic dishes from several cultures.

My why

Chef Wande holds a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Master of Public Health in Health Disparity from the University of Maryland. Her decision to study Nutrition and Dietetics is the result of a long battle with obesity.Through discipline, consistency, and a new found knowledge of cooking and healthy eating Chef Wande was able to lose 100lbs. Cooking at home not only enabled her to control her calories but help her develop and perfect her cooking skills.

My gift

Chef Wande resides in Maryland where she is a chef, dinner party curator, content creator, YouTuber, and Food Access Planner for the City of Baltimore. In addition, Chef Wande hosts virtual cooking lessons and supper clubs. Unconventional techniques, bold flavors and creativity fuel Chef Wande’s passion for food and cooking. Chef Wande's aim is to provide you with the tools, inspiration, and confidence you need to prepare meals that you can be proud of.
