What is the difference between catering and private dining?

Chef Wande's catering services are geared towards larger parties. Food is typically served from our stainless steel chafers or disposable chafing dishes. Private Dining typically involves 3 courses that are plated for each guest. The meal is typically cooked in the client's home.

How Do I Book Chef Wande?

How far in advance do i need to book chef Wande

It is best to book Chef Wande at least 2 weeks prior to your event. A late fee will be assessed to bookings made less than 7 days notice.

Does Chef Wande travel?

Yes! Chef Wande does travel. Travel bookings include additional fees such as transportation and accommodations.

Can I get a refund?

Deposits are non-refundable. If you need to cancel after your final payment has been made, you are entitled to 50% of your final deposit so long as the cancellation is 4 business days away. Cancellation within 3 days or less of the event will result in a refund of 20% of the final deposit.

How do I lock in my booking with Chef Wande?

A 50% deposit is required to lock in your booking with Chef Wande. Your event date can be booked by another client if a deposit is not made.

What should I do to prepare for a private event in my home?

In order for Chef Wande to provide you with the best experience possible please be sure that your kitchen space is clean. ie. no dishes in the sink, clear counter space, and refrigerator space.

When is my final payment due?

The final payment for your booking is due 5 business days before your event.
