Quick story: I spent only a few years of my childhood with my mother involved in my life. For a lot of reasons I was mostly raised by my dad. This is important because every kid needs their mom and there are certain things that always remind you of her. Our natural senses house the most memories and I never realized how the sense of taste could really impact me until the brunch where I tasted @Wanakinskitchen eggs. Seems simple enough right? Like it’s just eggs. Right?? NO! I took one bite and had a legit flashback to my childhood. My moms fire eggs she made on the weekends. Full of butter and flavor. It was a shock! I wasn’t expecting that memory but that’s how good these eggs were. They took me back. Back to when food was really made of love, you could taste it. This is not to say the rest of the brunch was not impeccable but it was those eggs that made me look like this cook is the real deal! She knows what she’s doing. And is truly gifted!

Chef Wande and her assistant Crystal were wonderful to work with. They provided food for my sons bday party (30 people). They were extremely professional and responsive to email. The food was fresh, scrumptious and mouth watering. My guest couldn’t stop raving about it especially the foodies in the group. Chef Wande also helped with setting up the food with warmers. If you need food for an event I would highly recommend them. In case your curious she made fried chicken, lemon peppered chicken, pasta dish with Caribbean cream sauce, honey baked salmon, mixed green salad and a fruit platter.

My husband and I had a private brunch prepared by Chef Wande. Chef Wande came to our home on time and well prepared with all the ingredients and tools she needed to make our meal. She made spiced cornbread as the appetizer. For the main course she made chipotle chili fried chicken & cinnamon sugar sweet potato waffles with a smoky maple syrup. Both dishes were soooo sooo good! This was our third time eating food from Chef Wande and we have never been disappointed. She also prepares the best tacos my husband and I have ever had! Book with Chef Wande. You will not be disappointed!

I attended a private dinner birthday party and then after that hired Wanakins Kitchen for a weekend to private chef meals. What I enjoy the most about the experience is the high quality food on the menu and the experience. You can’t get the food even at high end restaurants. I had the best meals of my life through my experiences with Wanakins Kitchen and will continue to hire her and her team when I have special events! I’ve never had a private chef make me dinner before and all I can say is it was probably one of the best experiences of my life. To be in the comfort of your own home and have someone make you a 3 course meal is honestly a form of self-love. I don’t think I’ve ever known what it’s like to taste food that’s made with a lot of love, but Chef Wande is someone who is intentional about her craft. The presentation of her food, the balance of flavors, the thoughtfulness of her menus - everything was phenomenal. I’d recommend her to anyone interested in planning a private event or wanting to gift an amazing experience to a friend or loved one. I can’t wait to work with her again!

My experience with Wanakin’s Kitchen was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and the dessert was decadent! The set up, ambiance, and plating was unmatched. I’ve experienced a couple of private chefs and this was by far my best experience. Her dishes were seasoned to perfection and it didn’t take hours and hours to come out. I decided to hire Chef Wande for her services for my husband and I, 1 year anniversary. She provided excellent service and top notch meals. I love the experience she brought and she is definitely gifted. The food was off the chain and the service was amazing. I will definitely utilize her in the near future for my other events.

If you want a fine dining experience, it doesn’t get any better than this… Every dish is well presented and absolutely delectable. I wish I could indulge daily. I’ve ordered an array of dishes from her and it amazes me that every dish is to die for. Well seasoned and not over cooked, this cuisine is perfection on a plate. Standing ovation every single time!

All I can say is WOW. I hired Wande for a brunch after my wedding rehearsal and I must say I was impressed. The food, the professionalism and attention to detail was absolutely perfect. She even went as far to print a poster board with me and my wife’s picture on it. I will be ordering again soon. Thank you!

I couldn’t wait to have Chef Wandes cooking for my 30th birthday dinner! Everything from the food (which everyone said was SO GOOD, and we had left overs) the menus provided for every guest, the buffet serving platters, it all was appreciated and complimented my theme very well.

That’s how I’d describe the services rendered by Wanakin’s Kitchen at the event I planned As an out of state event planner, I was nervous as to the turn out of my event . chef Wande was exceptional in her communication, speed in responding and delivery. The food!!! Was much more stellar than I bargained for, the guests were pleased ..Oh and the packaging …. I give Chef Wande Of wanakins kitchen a 💯 because the food presentation screamed Finesse. Udodilim’s Afrobrunch was a success partly because of Wanakins kitchen. I’d recommend their services over and again … I’d surely be back
